THE FOLD serves as an introduction and meditation on our artwork Flower of Life, presented during its international debut in Miami. Across twelve pages, it weaves together essays, poetry, questions, historical artifacts, mythology, photography, and a curated selection of works by Gustave Courbet, Judy Chicago, Juliana Notari, Loie Hollowell, Salvador Dalí, Sam Chirnside, Niki de Saint Phalle, and others.
Engaging with the public so directly — so intimately — was a singular experience. Our dear friend and cinematographer Esteban Wautier traveled from Paris to capture the public's reception of this historical moment, which you can watch in the short film below.
